MTB DRIVING COURSE

Do you want to learn the keys to improve and gain confidence?

What you will learn in this driving course

Planet Mtb method is the best tool to understand the theoretical and practical aspects of all the technical actions on a mountain bike, from the most basic levels to the most advanced.

In this Mountain Bike driving course, you will learn everything you need to master your bike in any situation.
Knowing how to ride a bicycle does not necessarily mean you know how to control it, so learning progressively from the basics is the best way to grasp and assimilate theoretical-practical knowledge under the personalized supervision of experts in the field.

The driving position may seem obvious and easy, but you’d be surprised how many mistakes are made due to a lack of understanding of its functions. In this course, you’ll learn the key points.

Without a doubt, this is the most important element for the combination of inertia and energy transfer between the bike and the rider. In the course, we develop numerous exercises to understand and execute these concepts.

Another key element for safe speed regulation on descents is understanding how your braking performance works and how your braking system modulates your energy levels.

Cornering is undoubtedly the most complex technical skill, and we’re going to teach you all the variables to improve both lean angle and grip, as well as energy direction when going through dynamic, progressive corners, with or without banked turns.

The saying goes, “Power without control is useless.” And that’s precisely what we need on climbs: balanced power, but above all, proper technique. We’ll show you how and when to apply them.

Going down a step doesn’t always mean you have to perform a bicycle-like sprint uphill. There are five techniques for navigating steps, each better suited to a particular type of step. In this course, we’ll teach you how to recognize and master them.

Jumps can be of different types, yet most failures occur at the same point on the takeoff ramp. If you want to know the factors to consider for a safe takeoff from any type of obstacle, we’ll explain it to you.
